One Meal. One Community. One Hope.
My name is Zoa Ngoyene Mireille, a French-speaking Cameroonian woman who has lived through homelessness and knows both its pain and the healing power of a shared meal.
Together with Refuge volunteers — Burni … and Yvette StoneSchild — supported by YWCA Regina, we are preparing a Christmas Solidarity Meal rooted in:
Fresh local Saskatchewan ingredients
Cameroonian culinary tradition
Warmth, dignity, and solidarity
This Christmas, our goal is to serve 250 meals to people facing homelessness or loneliness.
Why it matters
A hot, complete, fresh meal
Recognition of hidden wounds & isolation
Community connection across cultures
Hope, kindness, and compassion
The Meal
